In 1937, Robert W. Young & William Morgan, Sr., serendipitously met while working at the Southwest Range and Sheep Breeding Laboratory, near Ft. Wingate; this happenstance was initiated by none other than John P. Harrington, who Young was associated with at the time. Young was only 25, while Morgan was even younger at only 20 (Dinwoodie and Morgan 2003).
