Aline is a graduate student at the University of New Mexico.

Anna Deutsch

Anna is a MA student in the Department of Linguistics who focuses on sign language sociolinguistics and language documentation. She is originally from Jefferson City, Missouri.

Savannah Rivas

Savannah is a graduate student in the Department of Linguistics with interests in, among many other things, typology and language acquisition and contact. Originally from the Four Corners, she now considers Albuquerque home.

Devin Lansing

Devin Lansing éí Bit’ahnii nilį́įgo Bilagáana yáshchiin.  Kinłich’íinii da bicheii dóó Bilagáana da binálí. Devin is from Coyote Canyon, NM, but attends the University of New Mexico (UNM) in Albuquerque, NM.  He works at the UNM Navajo Language Program, assisting with curriculum and course development.  Devin is also a substitute teacher pursuing a special education degree.  Devin is passionate about connecting the younger generation of Diné with the importance of K’é, Saad, Nanitin, and Oodlą’. 

Lonise Yazzie

Lonise Yazzie is an undergraduate student majoring in Earth and Planetary Sciences with a minor in Navajo Language & Linguistics. Lonise is from Dennehotso, Arizona, and her clans are Tódích’ii’nii, Tótsohnii, Tábąąhí, and Kinyaa’áanii.

Daniele Etsitty 

Daniele Etsitty is majoring in Native American Studies and minoring in Navajo Language & Linguistics. After graduating, she plans to apply to the Law and Indigenous Peoples Program at UNM. In her free time, she loves to play softball and volleyball. Her clans are Tó’aheedlíinii, Kinyaa’áanii, Táchii’nii, Tódích’ií’nii. 

Gabrielle Jack

Gabrielle Jack is majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Navajo Language. Gabrielle is from Shiprock, NM, and her clans are Naakaii Dine’é, Hooghanłáni, Táchii’nii, and Tó’aheedliinii.

Jose (JD) Saldana

JD is the NLP’s Graphic Designer and Animator. He is majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Gaming. JD is from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and is hoping to work in video game design after he graduates.
